I don’t have anything to complain about this week. I absolutely loved the dress that won, and hated the losing design. I thought the winner was something that did look very wearable, if you were a bit edgy, and it wasn’t like you could see to China. I’d wear it to a Phenomenauts party. The losing design was too shiny, too short, and too funky.
I can’t wait until things get good and juicy. I don’t have any favorites yet. None of the designers have really stood out to me. We’ll see how things shape up.
I’ve sort of started watching this Shear Genius show, just because it’s on right after Project Runway. It’s OK. I like my hair, but it’s hard for me to judge what makes a good hairstyle. I just go into Wonder Dave and say, “make it more edgy, make it more blonde, make it less blonde, it’s too froofy, etc.”
But it’s snot!!
(For the record, I do, in fact, realize that I misused the word ‘homeopathic’ twice. This is why I write . . . so I can edit!)
Oh yeah, and heavy breathing.
It’s after midnight. I think I have what could be the seedlings of a sinus infection. I’ve irrigated said sinuses twice already, and taken some meds, too. So what the hell am I doing up?
I’m working. That’s what I’m doing. Why? I dunno. Maybe because there’s a lot of work to do. My boss is on vacation. So that pretty much means it’s just me. And I have an extreme work ethic.
Plus, this is a very complicated campaign I’m putting together. (I work in advertising; did I ever mention that?) So, it’s kind of aggravating in a really fun way. Yes, I’m one of those weirdos that enjoys being challenged.
But if I’m not done here in the next hour, that’s it!
I do have my limits.
