I went to see the Giants again last night. In case you’re keeping count, that’s two Giants’ games and one A’s game. I am a baseball fiend. I told you I was going to go to more games this year, as I am a crazy single girl, and nothing will come between me and Brian Wilson, except maybe his atrocious facial hair choices.
Anyway, my brother’s boss has season tickets, and he gave a pair to me and my mom last night. We got to see Matt Cain not only pitch a great game, and take the win, but he hit a home run to boot. The only homer for the Giants in yesterday’s match up. Take that Designated Hitter! Cain’s got a batting average of .313. Fred Lewis almost hit for the cycle, hitting a single, double, and a triple. All he needed was that homer. Next time.
I had a really good time, and I got to do some cheering and hollering. I think that was the first time my mom and I went to a ball game together without my dad or brother, which was pretty cool.
Oh, and did I mention that the weather was perfect? ‘Cause it was. No freezing wind for this one.
