I won’t be going to Blakes on Janurary 20th to see Warsaw Poland Bros. It makes me very sad. However, the show is a Savage Production show. Savage Production is evil. They are in the habit of not paying bands that play their shows. I used to love to go to Blakes. The dank, dark basement filled with music, sweat, love, and booze. Savage Production has ruined it for me. I boycott Savage, not Warsaw, so I hope they’ll understand. I love Double A and Ska Queen, and Mike on drums, but I cannot, in good conscious, give my money to that Monica Savage, as I know none of the money will go to the band. Maybe next time.

I can definitely understand not wanting to give you’re cash and by way of cash your support to an awful business that won’t pay the bands they hire. However.. I think that a band that works as hard as Warsaw does.. I think they deserve the support of the people who enjoy their music. I’m sure you would go if they were at a different venue.. but for me personally, I like to think that when I’m in the crowd of any band not just Warsaw.. that I’m showing them that I support them. To see people enjoying their music.. to have people come back again and again that’s why they work so hard, and its something they strive for. (besides of course love of music.) Anyway.. I guess what I’m saying is that for me.. whether or not the venue was the most terrible place on earth I’d be there to support them. One can always buy a CD or shirt if they want to put some cash in their pockets ^.^
– anyway those are just my thoughts and I would never try to criticize you for yours.
But I do hope you see them again soon ^.^
